Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford, has urged the club’s fans to appreciate midfielder Christian Eriksen after the Denmark international provided the assist for the England star’s 100th goal for the Red Devils.
Rashford achieved the feat after scoring the only goal in Man United’s Premier League 1-0 win over West Ham United last weekend.
The 25-year-old scored a powerful header against West Ham following an assist from Eriksen.
The goal moved Rashford to joint 20th in the all-time list of Man United goalscorers by bringing up his century for the club.
However, on Tuesday, Rashford asked his Twitter followers to send some love to Eriksen for the assist.
“I know a lot has been said about me scoring that header for my 100th club goal but can we take a moment to appreciate the ball from Christian Eriksen,” Rashford said.
